Requirements

Minimum of 10 years of overall experience with a proven track record of leading engineering teams to deliver production-quality products in fast-paced, global environments
Strong leadership skills in setting vision, fostering autonomy, mentoring, and driving collaboration across global, fast-paced environments
Strong experience leading teams to deliver production-quality products according to industry standards, combined with excellent technical writing skills and the ability to guide the development and deployment of complex systems into production

Responsibilities

Lead the engineering team to develop features and improvements to the Affinidi Elements product in a secure, well-tested, and performant way, primarily using Typescript with NodeJs and React (also good portion Dart and React)
Analyze and interpret highly complex data to arrive at actionable recommendations for tasks on team and cross-team level
Analyze and interpret highly complex problems and convert them into actionable tasks for the team
Collaborate with Product Management and other stakeholders (e.g. UX) to maintain a high bar for quality in a fast-paced, iterative environment
Collaborate in building the product and technology roadmap with peers, product managers, designers, and stakeholders
Advocate for improvements to product quality, security, and performance
Guide the team in solving technical problems with large scope and complexity
Guide the team in crafting code that meets internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for a high-scale systems environment; maintain and advocate for these standards through best practices within the team and department
Own delivery of significantly complex features and improvements; collaborate with cross-functional teams and peers on larger projects
Lead by example and constantly coach and mentor engineers in achieving the next level of career and professional growth
Lead and create a diverse, dynamic, collaborative, transparent culture where everyone's ideas and opinions are equally valued
