Requirements

7+ years of software engineering experience with modern tech stacks
2+ years of engineering management experience leading high-performing teams
Strong hands-on coding skills (Python, Java, Go, or similar)
Deep experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Proven track record building scalable distributed systems
Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD
Strong understanding of system design, microservices, and APIs
Excellent communication skills and ability to mentor engineers
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Experience with platform or infrastructure engineering
Background in FinTech or SaaS companies (preferred)
Familiarity with data pipelines and processing frameworks (preferred)
Experience with monitoring, observability, and DevOps practices (preferred)
Track record of technical innovation and driving engineering culture (preferred)
Experience with AI technologies such as langgraph, langchain, mcp (preferred)

Responsibilities

Design and architect scalable, resilient platform services
Conduct code reviews and establish engineering best practices
Make key technical decisions on frameworks, tools, and architecture
Lead technical initiatives and drive platform modernization efforts
Participate in on-call rotation and troubleshoot production issues
Write production code and contribute to critical platform components
Lead, mentor, and grow a team of 5-8 engineers
Conduct 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development conversations
Build a high-performing, collaborative team culture
Recruit, interview, and hire top engineering talent
Champion continuous learning and technical growth
Remove blockers and create an environment where engineers thrive
Partner with Product and Design to define technical roadmaps
Collaborate with other engineering teams on platform initiatives
Communicate technical vision and progress to stakeholders
Balance business needs with technical excellence
