About the Role

CrowdStrike is seeking an Engineering Manager within the Exposure Management Group to lead the Risk and Posture Management team. This role requires a balance of technical expertise and leadership skills, with a focus on driving roadmap and technical strategy. Responsibilities

  • Help design, drive, and deliver on both roadmap and technical strategy.
  • Hire, retain, and grow a team of highly talented engineers.
  • Collaborate effectively with engineers, product leaders, sales, and marketing teams.

Requirements

  • Education: BS/MS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: Multiple years of experience in software engineering (as an engineer, technical lead, and technical manager).
  • Technical Skills:
    • Experience in Golang and/or similar technologies.
    • Experience with shipping high-quality software in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP).
    • Experience building systems at cloud scale.
    • Experience with Big Data technologies (e.g., Elastic MapReduce, Spark, Elasticsearch, Apache Pinot, Apache Hive).
  • Operational Skills: Experience maintaining large distributed systems at scale, with a demonstrated passion for healthy live site and service operations.
  • Soft Skills: Solid design and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
