Requirements

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of experience as an engineering manager and 10+ years as a software engineer
  • Experience working with authentication and authorization services
  • Experience in Golang or similar technologies
  • Experience with shipping high-quality software in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Experience in building and maintaining large distributed systems at scale
  • Solid design and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated passion for engineering excellence, quality, security, and performance
  • Experience working with remote teams and individuals while ensuring agility and velocity
  • Ability to communicate and articulate crisply at all levels from executive staff to junior engineers
  • Ability and desire to be hands on as well as leading the team and collaborating cross functionally
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Help lead a multi-disciplinary team (backend, frontend, SDET, etc.) to drive and deliver on both roadmap and technical strategy
  • Play an instrumental role in hiring, retaining, and growing a team of highly talented engineers
