Candidates must possess a strong Identity and Access Management (IAM) background with experience in building or scaling centralized identity systems, emphasizing reliability and performance. A minimum of 3 years of engineering leadership experience managing teams through large project delivery, preferably in the identity space, is required. Expertise in cryptography and working with end-to-end encryption systems, along with people-centric leadership skills to foster a positive team environment and strong decision-making abilities, are essential. Experience in cross-team collaboration and delivering projects involving multiple engineering and cross-functional stakeholders is also necessary.
The Engineering Manager will define and drive the strategic roadmap for IAM projects, including IDP ingestion, lifecycle management, and provisioning. They will lead the delivery of large-scale, resilient systems within an end-to-end encrypted environment, addressing key management, user privacy, and secure interoperability. Responsibilities include mentoring engineers to enhance their technical skills in IAM, cryptography, and secure system design, and partnering with cross-functional teams such as Security, Product, and Infrastructure to ensure identity flows are usable and resilient. Additionally, the manager will build and maintain high-performing, diverse teams by leading hiring, onboarding, and career development.
