Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university
Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Industrial, Controls, and/or related Engineering
U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S. (authorized to work without sponsorship, now or in the future)
Available for Summer 2026 (up to 40 hours per week; part-time during school year may be available)
Able to work on-site at the manufacturing facility in Fort Wayne, IN

Responsibilities

Update Value Stream Maps (VSM)
Assist with High Performance Team (HPT) projects and requests
Assist the parts crib functions – learn industrial components
Special design projects as necessary
Time studies
Updating AutoCAD Plant Layout
Reviewing and updating the PM process and schedule
Reviewing and recommending part replacements
Updating flow charts, work instructions, PM documents (TAE/BAE)
Analyzing and improving processes based on investigations
