Requirements

  • Dynamic and experienced in leading manufacturing engineering functions
  • Expertise in electronics manufacturing, specializing in server assembly, box build, and rack-level integration and testing
  • Ability to establish, lead, and scale multi-disciplinary engineering teams across product engineering, test development, manufacturing engineering, NPI, design engineering, and equipment maintenance
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills for engineering teams
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, PFMEA, continuous improvement initiatives, and standardization
  • Experience in process design, optimization, and control for servers and rack-level assembly/test
  • Proficiency in equipment selection, layout planning, and capacity modeling
  • Skills in site-level industrialization of new products, from engineering builds to full ramp
  • Ability to coordinate engineering readiness (tooling, process, test, training) for phase gates
  • Experience interfacing with customer engineering teams, program management, OEMs on schedules, deliverables, DfM/DfT/DFAA, serviceability, and cost-optimization
  • Expertise in driving closed-loop feedback from manufacturing and test data into product design
  • Knowledge of developing and deploying server-level and rack-level test systems (functional, burn-in, stress, diagnostics)
  • Ability to ensure traceability, yield monitoring, root-cause analysis, and scalable systems
  • Experience supporting transition to automated test platforms and data-driven quality systems
  • Proficiency in implementing preventive and predictive maintenance systems
  • Skills in ensuring uptime, calibration, and health monitoring of production and test equipment, including automation
  • Ability to identify opportunities for production automation and digital transformation
  • Experience collaborating with R&D and product teams on robotics, autonomous material movement, and automation solutions

Responsibilities

  • Establish, lead, and scale a multi-disciplinary engineering team supporting full product lifecycle and factory operations
  • Lead and mentor engineering teams across product, test, manufacturing, and maintenance functions
  • Develop and implement the site’s engineering strategy to support production, innovation, quality, and scalability goals
  • Drive a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and technical excellence
  • Serve as the primary technical authority for engineering decisions on site
  • Own process design, optimization, and control for servers and rack-level assembly/test
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles, PFMEA, continuous improvement initiatives, and standardization
  • Oversee equipment selection, layout planning, and capacity modeling
  • Manage site-level industrialization of new products: from engineering builds to full ramp
  • Coordinate engineering readiness (tooling, process, test, training) for each phase gate
  • Interface with customer engineering teams and Program Management on schedules and deliverables
