Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Relevant Field
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship for employment visas)
  • Ability to travel 10% of the time
  • Typically 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, PCBA (preferred)
  • Demonstrated understanding of New Product Introduction process (preferred)
  • Experience coordinating and building discrete assembly lines and/or PCBA assembly process (preferred)
  • Good understanding of Manufacturing Process and experience engineering (preferred)
  • Experience with PCBA, SMT Pre and post Operations (Conformal Coat, Routing, Wave and Selective Solder)

Responsibilities

  • Complete Printed Circuit Boards Assemblies (PCBAs) prototype and pilot builds
  • Program electronic manufacturing process equipment
  • Coordinate equipment installation in facilities ensuring all EHS requirements are met
  • Facilitate final acceptance of all assembly processes
  • Coordinate prototype builds and lead cross-functional evaluation of these activities
  • Complete final routing in accordance with facility requirements and documented work instructions
  • Support PCBA Prototype builds to enable operations and development time
  • Coordinate PCBA proto and pilot builds and participate in evaluation activities
  • Execute all Manufacturing Execution System Deliverables (routing, part extension validation, Work instructions (Digital and Print), Operator & Maintenance training, Hypercare support, production application)
  • Ensure compliance and provide feedback to manufacturing standards established by Process Engineering organization
  • Manage projects across different product lines and teams, including timelines and action plans for cost-effective test solutions
  • Lead, coach, and mentor others within NPI Build team across multiple manufacturing process areas
  • Work with some direct supervision on issues of diverse scope requiring analysis of situations, data, business trends, and operations
  • Simultaneously support multiple business units and manufacturing plants
  • Work with multi-location and multi-time zone teams, often remotely
  • Enable early build of Production system for Development builds during design phase on the Production Line
  • Create Documented Work Instructions (DWI)
  • Ensure compliance to all production environmental, health, and safety requirements
