Candidates should have a deep understanding of JavaScript and considerable experience building thick-client applications with modern frameworks such as Ember, AngularJS, Backbone, or React/Flux. Experience with testing frameworks, tools, and methodologies like QUnit, Mocha, and Selenium is required, along with functional knowledge and interest in developing genuinely accessible interfaces. Strong HTML and CSS skills are necessary, with bonus points for experience with animation and knowledge of appropriate CSS preprocessors.
The Frontend Engineer will build and maintain single-page web applications using JavaScript and Ember.js, and participate in the code review process. They will also build tools to improve the team's development experience, write automated tests for their code, and collaborate with UI Engineers, Cloud Engineers, UI Designers, Technical Writers, User Researchers, QA Analysts, and Product Managers. Additionally, the engineer will continually learn about the cybersecurity industry and help define product specifications and features.
