Responsibilities

As an Engineer II, Software, you will be responsible for designing, writing, and delivering software to improve the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of Thermo Fisher Scientific’s services, working with a team of engineers to support end-to-end service availability and performance. You will build automation to prevent problems recurrence, automate a response to service conditions, participate in on-call rotations across continents, and provide engineering support related to OS troubleshooting, assisting the team in repeatable tasks through operational automation and supporting the functionality of AWS and Azure environments.
