Responsibilities

  • Execute and manage SAP activities associated with Engineering Bill of Material creation and release
  • Execute and manage Design Change activities utilizing Windchill and its SAP and CREO interfaces
  • Support NPD and Sustaining Product Engineering with the completion of 3D CAD and drafting activities, as required, to support new product release and design change projects
  • Perform functions as required by established engineering procedures including project requests through engineering release and change management procedures
  • Assure that designs meet the requirements of the customer as defined by safety and any applicable industry or Toro standards
  • Keep abreast of new technological developments, components, concepts, materials, manufacturing processes, or competitive environment, which would affect the design or design process
  • Lead and coordinate engineering processes supporting new product concepts, new products, or improvements to existing products
  • In charge of qualification process of new extrusion lines and products changes, leading the extrusion process and training production areas and shifts
