Requirements

Candidates should possess a graduate degree in Electronics and Communication, Information Technology, or Computer Science, and a Master's technical degree is highly desirable. They must have 3 to 7 years of experience working with Linux device drivers, Linux Kernel Programming, Linux Kernel Internals, Yocto / Buildroot or other build systems. Strong knowledge of embedded microprocessor platforms from Qualcomm, TI, NXP, NVIDIA, Intel, or similar, along with experience in board support package, device driver, and boot loader development/porting is required. Familiarity with development tools such as oscilloscopes, protocol analyzers, emulators, signal generators, JTAG programmers, GIT, SVN, and JIRA is also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Sr. Engineer (Linux BSP) will be responsible for the design and development of real-time embedded software/firmware and PC/mobile-based software applications. This includes analyzing technical requirements, participating in software design, performing software testing at various levels, conducting code reviews, troubleshooting software problems, documenting technical deliverables, and developing software solutions using established programming languages. The role also encompasses working with different embedded microprocessor platforms and contributing to the overall project lifecycle.
