Enrolled in Undergraduate or Master’s level in parasitology, immunology, biology or a similar field
Experience with basic laboratory procedures and parasitology methods (courses or lab experience) preferred
Experience or comfort with animal handling

Handling and care of small animals, specifically dogs and rodents
Parasite culturing, including both in vitro and in vivo aspects
In vitro screening and assay development/execution
Data capture in electronic database and statistical analysis
Literature review and hypothesis generation
Presenting research progress and results internally
Work as part of a cross-functional team to develop and conduct parasitology research focused on endoparasites
Conduct in vivo studies with animals
Optimize and validate endoparasite in vitro assays and processes
Contribute to experimental design, data collection, and analysis
Present findings internally through team meetings and an intern poster session
