Requirements

  • Single British passport holder (no dual nationality or overseas cards held directly or via parents)
  • Resided in the UK for the past 10 years to meet security clearance requirements
  • UK national
  • Security cleared to SC or willing to upgrade to DV level
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in End User Compute or Device Management role, preferably in large or complex IT environment
  • Deep technical knowledge of EUC infrastructure: Windows 10/11, macOS, Android, iOS
  • Deep technical knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune/SCCM), JAMF, Group Policy
  • Deep technical knowledge of Active Directory, Azure AD, and Conditional Access
  • Knowledge of VDI technologies (Citrix, VMware Horizon, or Microsoft AVD)
  • Strong understanding of endpoint security, encryption, antivirus, and compliance solutions
  • Familiarity with collaboration tools like Microsoft 365, Teams, and SharePoint
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Experience collaborating with 3rd party vendors and customers
  • Confident in delivering high-level technical representation (e.g., conference calls, technical resolutions)
  • Ability to work in an Agile team, self-driven, focused on continuous improvements
  • Passionate about technology and a natural problem solver

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary SME for all End User Compute and Device initiatives (Windows/Mac laptops, desktops, VDI, mobile devices, collaboration tools)
  • Design and maintain modern device management solutions (e.g., Microsoft Intune, SCCM)
  • Lead the technical lifecycle for EUC services: evaluation, planning, deployment, testing, support, and retirement
  • Develop and maintain policies and standards for device security, patching, compliance, and usage
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Security, Network, Service Desk, Procurement) for cohesive EUC strategies
  • Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations to enhance user experience, security, and cost-efficiency
  • Lead or support EUC-related projects (OS migrations, hardware refreshes, application rollouts)
  • Monitor and report on EUC service performance, incidents, and user satisfaction metrics
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices
