Requirements

  • Proven track record in Medical Affairs and Medical Education roles (5+ years), with cardiovascular experience
  • Demonstrated success in alliance/partnership settings and complex, matrixed organizations
  • Strong communication, influencing, and networking skills

Responsibilities

  • Establish and manage an external network of agencies, investigators, KOLs, patient groups, and medical societies to shape and implement product strategy
  • Lead KOL engagement plans and foster trusted relationships to ensure scientific credibility and impactful education
  • Seek expert input from physicians and patient groups on educational program development to ensure relevance and value
  • Coordinate EMEA-level Medical Education content development, working with program chairs, faculty, and KOLs to prepare outlines, meeting materials, and secure appropriate review and sign-off
  • Communicate with CME providers, HCPs, and institutions regarding educational grants and charitable contributions
  • Select and manage vendors in line with Procurement guidelines, overseeing relationships throughout program development and execution in collaboration with SKM, EMAD, and EMPL
  • Plan, coordinate and attend key medical meetings, symposia, and advisory boards to maintain visibility and scientific leadership
  • Act as primary company contact for medical societies and external scientific communities
  • Ensure all educational activities comply with HCC, regulatory, and legal requirements
  • Develop and implement EMEA medical strategy and product plans for Milvexian, aligned with global and alliance objectives
  • Provide scientific expertise to internal stakeholders and support operating companies in adapting strategies locally
  • Maintain deep knowledge of cardiovascular disease areas (Afib, SSP), Milvexian, and competitor landscape
  • Support IEGP process
  • Review and approve medical materials and support training needs across EMEA
  • Collaborate closely with alliance partners (e.g., BMS) and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of joint strategies
  • Navigate and influence within complex, multicultural, and virtual teams across EMEA
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination between regional, local, and global stakeholders
