Electrical Engineer, Airframes
Flock Safety- Full Time
- Junior (1 to 2 years)
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and have a minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in defense or aerospace. Proficiency in electrical design software such as Altium Designer or Cadence is required, along with experience in embedded systems programming. A strong understanding of power systems, analog/digital electronics, and circuit design is essential, as is demonstrated performance in PCB design, schematic design, PCB layout, and breadboarding.
The Electrical Engineer will develop and analyze printed circuit boards for guidance and communication systems, as well as power distribution. They will create the electro-mechanical design for wire harnesses on drone aircraft and generate detailed design drawings and schematics for electrical equipment. Prototyping and testing will involve rapidly constructing prototypes using breadboards and off-the-shelf equipment, while ensuring design integrity and performance specifications are met. The role also includes integrating embedded systems into defense products, collaborating with mechanical and systems engineers, implementing quality assurance checks, and ensuring compliance with industry and defense regulations.
