Requirements

Candidates should possess a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related scientific discipline, or an equivalent qualification. They must have at least two years of experience in the heavy equipment industry, along with technical expertise in designing DC voltage control systems and familiarity with electrical automation of hydraulic systems. Knowledge of PLC programming, particularly in CoDeSys 3.5, and experience with 24Vdc control systems including CAN bus and Modbus networks is required.

Responsibilities

The Electrical Engineer will support new product development (NPD) projects for Terex mobile screening plants, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. They will provide technical support on existing and new products, take ownership of introducing new technology, and ensure products comply with Company and industry standards and legislation regarding machine safety. The Engineer will also work with stakeholders to achieve a zero-harm target, create and test PLC and HMI software, write functional specifications, support operations teams on improvement projects, contribute to continuous improvement efforts, occasionally perform equipment commissioning, and possess strong project management and analytical skills.
