Responsibilities

  • Interpret customer specifications and drawings, applying industry regulations and standards (NEC, UL 508, UL 891, UL 1558, UL MV, CSA 22-2, ANSI)
  • Create bill of materials in ERP system
  • Provide direction to purchasing and procurement
  • Provide direction to CAD designers to create wiring and assembly drawings
  • Support production during equipment manufacturing
  • Write and validate PLC code for generator control systems, interfacing with various communication protocols
  • Design, develop, and build low and medium voltage switchgear for generator paralleling applications
