Candidates should possess a minimum of a 3-year vocational training degree, ideally as a process mechanic for plastics technology or a comparable qualification with several years of professional experience. They must have sound knowledge of injection molding production, be proficient in controlling various injection molding machines, and have practical experience. A forklift license or the willingness to obtain one is required, along with strong German language skills and basic PC/MS Office knowledge. English language skills are a plus. The role requires responsibility, teamwork, a structured and conscientious work approach, and flexibility for shift and weekend work.
The role involves setting up, operating, and monitoring plastic injection molding machines, molds, and peripheral equipment. Responsibilities include ensuring stable and efficient production, troubleshooting and resolving machine malfunctions, performing maintenance and repairs on tools and equipment, and maintaining cleanliness standards. The position also entails quality checks of plastic parts, executing order changes with approvals, and participating in the implementation of Lean methods, shop floor management, 5S, and setup time optimization.
