Requirements

Bachelor of Occupational Health and Safety (Jor Por)
Minimum 3 years in EHS roles, preferably in International Manufacturing, Healthcare, Medical Devices Manufacturing or related fields
ISO 14001, 45001 knowledge & experience
Safety engineering background preferred
Business Level English Communication
Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and standards
Experience with risk assessments, audits, and compliance
Ability to develop and implement EHS policies and procedures
Excellent communication and training skills
Mature with good interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

Execute the EHS Management System including ISO 14001 & maintain ISO 14000 certified status
Manage the administration and implementation of EHS policies, standards and programs
Ensure compliance with all EHSS regulations and company requirements; follow emerging EHSS regulations and issues
Provide guidance and administration support on all EHS regulations
Handle interactions with EHS regulatory agencies, submit EHS data & reports and maintain EHS certificates, permits, licenses etc
Proactively identify potential EHS hazards through risk assessments, Gemba walks, inspections, etc., and drive timely corrective actions
Work with other functions (e.g., engineering, facilities) to ensure EHS MOC (Management of Change) is implemented and EHSS aspects are considered at the beginning of new or changing operations and drive improvement
Conduct EHS management system audits including ISO 14001 audit
Develop and provide specialized EHSS training for employees, coordinate EHS training programs
Manage pollution prevention and waste minimization activities
Manage negotiation and development of EHS service contracts
Perform and/or assist in Industrial Hygiene monitoring
Assigned other EHS tasks at the site
