Requirements

Technical degree or equivalent experience in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, or related technical/scientific subject areas
2+ years of experience in the EHS field
Knowledge of main EHS regulations focusing on technical aspects
Good knowledge of the English language
Excellent communication, relational, and interpersonal abilities
Proactivity, flexibility, and problem-solving skills in a complex, multicultural environment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

Support in the creation, execution, and upkeep of EHS initiatives and regulations relevant to technical services operations and tasks
Take part in safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with regulations
Participate in incident investigations and help develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence
Support the preparation and delivery of EHS training programs for technical staff
Collect and analyze EHS benchmarks
Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) supporting internal functions
Coordinate inspections and scheduled meetings with departments to manage work permits (LOTO, confined spaces, work at height, and machinery safety) and workplace improvements
Develop and maintain specific risk assessments related to technical aspects in accordance with Italian and European Regulations and other requirements
Develop and coordinate training programs on safety roles and responsibilities, procedures, emergency response, and other relevant topics
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to EHS activities
Carry out periodic facility walkthroughs to verify compliance with EHS regulations and pinpoint potential improvement areas
Collaborate to maintain compliance with permits requirements and communicate with local authorities
Support the monitoring and evaluation of EHS programs, finding opportunities for improvement, and implementing changes
