Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in technical/scientific field
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in EHS, including working in an industrial setting
Proven ability to lead EHS training and drive behavioral change
Strong knowledge of ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 and Norwegian regulations
Fluent in Norwegian and English, spoken and written
Experience with GMP, ISO13485, and auditing is a plus
Self-driven, engaged, thrives in a dynamic environment
Confident working independently and taking full ownership

Responsibilities

Develop and implement site-specific EHS strategies, procedures, and training programs
Ensure compliance with Norwegian laws and Abbott corporate standards (ISO, FDA, etc.)
Lead risk assessments, incident investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives
Coordinate audits, inspections, and emergency response activities
Manage hazardous waste permits, chemical safety, and occupational health programs
Drive a proactive safety culture and lead internal behavior change initiatives
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed EHS into daily operations
Act as key contact for regulatory authorities, internal stakeholders, and contractors
Shape the EHS function and ensure alignment with regulations and standards
