Requirements

  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP networks and other data communication technologies (network cabling, wired and wireless communications, routers, switches)
  • AC/DC wiring
  • Computer hardware repair
  • Thorough understanding of Windows and Mac OS environments
  • FTP and similar software for transferring files
  • Working knowledge of Cloud services and tools
  • Comfortable using tools such as ClickUp, Slack, and Lucidchart
  • Ability to handle constantly changing flow of traffic, remain productive during slow times, multitask during busy times, and exercise patience and professionalism during stressful situations
  • Friendly presence, helpful attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with others
  • Valid UK Driver’s license
  • Ability to work long hours, non-traditional schedules (including holidays and weekends)
  • Extensive travel domestically and internationally, including working on location for extended periods
  • Currently possess or can obtain a passport
  • Ability to frequently communicate with others, move objects up to 20 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs), perform sedentary work (sitting/standing), and operate computer/office machinery

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support onsite or remotely for coverage of events domestically and internationally
  • Work with photographers, editors, external vendors, and event organizers to ensure smooth and quick delivery of images to customers
  • Set up and run technology in non-traditional environments at large sporting, entertainment, and news events globally
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems during live events
  • Continuously evaluate and provide guidance on new technologies for improvements in imagery delivery
