Requirements

Candidates must have demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously with excellent attention to detail. They should be comfortable working in a remote environment with strong communication and time management skills, and have experience supporting editorial or digital content teams in an assistant or production role. Familiarity with CMS platforms, Google Docs/Sheets, basic content formatting including light HTML, basic SEO practices, and an open mind regarding AI in workflows and content creation are also required. A minimum of 1 year of experience supporting editorial or content production teams in a fast-paced digital media or performance marketing environment is necessary.

Responsibilities

The Editorial Assistant will assist and support the FinanceBuzz staff in producing high-quality SEO content, including formatting posts, creating and adding visuals and HTML tables, and publishing new content. Responsibilities include updating published content for accuracy, monetization, SEO, and reader experience, as well as updating data in internal tools. The role involves ensuring compliance requirements are applied to content, assisting with documentation, fact-checking, copyediting, and collaborating with the Editorial Team to improve skills and knowledge. This position also requires handling ad hoc tasks such as optimizing hyperlinks, collecting and inputting data, and cropping/uploading photos.
