Candidates should possess a graduate of an accredited echocardiography program and a minimum of one year of experience in echocardiography. Knowledge of stress echocardiography and transesophageal echocardiography procedures is required, along with credentialing as an echocardiography technician.
The Echocardiographer will perform high-quality ultrasound images of the heart according to established guidelines and departmental policies, complete 2D echo Doppler studies, edit images in a digital system, and process them for physician interpretation. They will also perform stress echo and dobutamine stress echo studies, support Virtua Health Policies and Procedures, and the Virtua Health Mission and Vision Statement, as well as complete transesophageal echocardiograms with cardiologists, edit and process images for physician interpretation.
