Requirements
- HS Diploma or GED
- 3-5 years’ minimum experience as an E/I technician in an industrial environment
- Use of test equipment (DVM, megger, loop calibrator, temp calibrator, amp meter and HART communicator)
- Read electrical/instrument schematics/loop diagrams
- Read P&ID drawings
- Temperature measurement (RTD's thermocouples)
- Pressure measurement (all types)
- Flow measurement (Magnetic flow, Coriolis, DP)
- Level measurement (DP, ultrasonic, radar & Nuclear)
- Conductivity measurement
- Density measurement (Coriolis and Nuclear)
- PH measurement, control, and theory
- Automatic control valves – rebuilding of valves (Fisher, Masoneilan)
- Valves positioners – electronic & pneumatic (Fisher, Masoneilan, PMV)
- Experience with gas fired BMS systems (Honeywell, fireye & others)
- 480V and greater MCCs and switchgear
- VFD's - Troubleshooting, wiring, and programming (ABB, AB & Yaskawa)
- Strong knowledge of National Electrical Codes, IEEE & ISA Standards, and Electrical Safety in the workplace (NFPA 70E)
- Self-motivated with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to interface effectively with wide range of technical, analytical, and managerial personnel
- Ability to lead execution of work and resolve technical and operational issues in a cross-functional team environment
- Experience using MS Excel, Word
- Working knowledge of PLC and DCS systems
- Experience with SAP preferred
