3-5 years’ minimum experience as an E/I technician in an industrial environment
Use of test equipment (DVM, megger, loop calibrator, temp calibrator, amp meter and HART communicator)
Read electrical/instrument schematics/loop diagrams
Read P&ID drawings
Temperature measurement (RTD's thermocouples)
Pressure measurement (all types)
Flow measurement (Magnetic flow, Coriolis, DP)
Level measurement (DP, ultrasonic, radar & Nuclear)
Conductivity measurement
Density measurement (Coriolis and Nuclear)
PH measurement, control, and theory
Automatic control valves – rebuilding of valves (Fisher, Masoneilan)
Valves positioners – electronic & pneumatic (Fisher, Masoneilan, PMV)
Experience with gas fired BMS systems (Honeywell, fireye & others)
480V and greater MCCs and switchgear
VFD's - Troubleshooting, wiring, and programming (ABB, AB & Yaskawa)
Strong knowledge of National Electrical Codes, IEEE & ISA Standards, and Electrical Safety in the workplace (NFPA 70E)
Self-motivated with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to interface effectively with wide range of technical, analytical, and managerial personnel
Ability to lead execution of work and resolve technical and operational issues in a cross-functional team environment
Experience using MS Excel, Word
Working knowledge of PLC and DCS systems
Experience with SAP preferred
