Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, Food, or Chemistry preferred (equivalent experience considered)
  • 1-3 years of successful experience in pharmaceuticals or biotechnology operations
  • 1-3 years of experience working in a GMP relevant environment with good understanding of GMP and GDP
  • Language: English or German
  • Willingness to learn
  • Hands-on mentality
  • Ability to work on a shift rotation model, including regular weekends, public holidays, and night work (3-shift)
  • On-call duties encouraged based on planning
  • Adherence to environmental conditions: GMP safety standards, cleanroom restrictions (no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair, contact lenses), standing for full shift, work with hazardous/toxic materials, PPE required

Responsibilities

  • Support operational readiness and inspection readiness in Down Stream Processing (DSP) within Biotech
  • Support Process Validation and Cleaning validation protocol execution
  • Complete daily manufacturing activities in DSP, including equipment cleaning by CIP, COP or SIP
  • Report and log all issues related to manufacturing activities in the relevant systems
  • Complete assigned tasks and update progress in the shift handover file
  • Escalate issues faced during the shift to the Shift lead or Team lead
  • Manage daily materials and area 5S within DSP
  • Ensure compliance with GMP regulations and company SOPs and Work Instructions
  • Troubleshoot and optimize production workflows
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements
