Requirements

  • Must have 6 months of continuous employment in the last 18 months of relevant machine operator, warehouse, agricultural or production experience
  • This location does not accept rehires
  • Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50lbs
  • Must be willing and able to complete work cycles in less than 20 seconds (and less than 10 seconds)
  • Must be willing and able to work on and around machinery and chemicals
  • Must be willing and able to perform tasks for periods up to 12 hours on concrete floor, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting
  • Must be willing and able to work in temperatures less than or equal to 35 degrees Fahrenheit for a minimum of 8 hours
  • Must be willing and able to work in a wet environment
  • Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

Responsibilities

  • Set up equipment in preparation for startup
  • Make precision cuts to carcass and separate meat from bone to achieve desired carcass yield
  • Inspect carcass and make precision cuts to remove quality defects
  • Maintain sharp tools to perform job tasks correctly
  • Adhere to good safety practices, food safety policies, and company policies
  • Set up area with all needed equipment
  • Monitor production area for trash and food debris on floor
  • Clean up area at end of production shift, including sweeping, picking up debris from the floor, and spraying work areas
  • Perform various other tasks as assigned by Lead person, Supervisor or Superintendent
