Requirements

Must have 6 months of continuous employment in the last 18 months of relevant machine operator, warehouse, agricultural or production experience
This location does not accept rehires
Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50lbs
Must be willing and able to complete work cycles in less than 20 seconds (and less than 10 seconds)
Must be willing and able to work on and around machinery and chemicals
Must be willing and able to perform tasks for periods up to 12 hours on concrete floor, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting
Must be willing and able to work in temperatures less than or equal to 35 degrees Fahrenheit for a minimum of 8 hours
Must be willing and able to work in a wet environment
Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

Responsibilities

Set up equipment in preparation for startup
Make precision cuts to carcass and separate meat from bone to achieve desired carcass yield
Inspect carcass and make precision cuts to remove quality defects
Maintain sharp tools to perform job tasks correctly
Adhere to good safety practices, food safety policies, and company policies
Set up area with all needed equipment
Monitor production area for trash and food debris on floor
Clean up area at end of production shift, including sweeping, picking up debris from the floor, and spraying work areas
Perform various other tasks as assigned by Lead person, Supervisor or Superintendent
