Requirements

Candidates should possess experience working as a doula with an in-depth understanding of pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery, and have completed certification or training as a birth and/or full spectrum doula. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required, along with comfort using Telehealth platforms, video conferencing tools, and electronic documentation systems.

Responsibilities

As a doula in the Pomelo network, you will educate and guide expecting and new families throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period, playing a vital role in improving birth outcomes by ensuring families feel supported and empowered. You will also provide client outreach support, and work virtually and in-person, evenings and weekends, to accommodate the needs of families.
