Candidates must possess a BS/BA Degree or equivalent experience, along with a PMP Certification. A minimum of three to five years of experience in Department of Defense program management is required, and experience with government contracts or veteran status is a plus. High-level communication skills, including proficiency in writing, speaking, and preparing presentations using PowerPoint, Excel, Project, and Word, are essential.
The DOD Program Manager will manage Program Management activities for all relevant Government contracts. They will plan and organize program timelines and tracking, develop program metrics and key milestones in conjunction with Business Development/Sales personnel, and ensure performance to program requirements. The manager will be responsible for program timing, quality, and budget, while maintaining communication with upper management on program risks and resolutions. They will collaborate with other professionals to ensure high-quality deliverables, coordinate capture management tasks, establish and maintain trusted relationships with stakeholders, and exert mature leadership by clearly communicating goals and objectives to clients. Additionally, they will participate in trade shows and attend seminars as needed, and perform other duties as assigned by Management.
