Requirements

Recommended Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
Japanese language proficiency at N3 level or above
Business fluency in English
Mastery in Amazon Cloud and EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service)
Expertise in open source technologies including Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Angular, and React development frameworks and tools (certification a plus)
Solid understanding of Oracle, RDS database management, NoSQL, and experience with migrations from on-premises to cloud
4+ years of experience in the insurance industry
8+ years of full-stack development experience with modern web technologies
6+ years of hands-on experience in application architecture and design, with expertise in software/enterprise integration principles like 12-factor applications
Strong knowledge of AWS cloud-based technologies, design patterns, and best practices
4+ years of experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain dynamic modern web technologies using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Angular, ensuring high performance and responsiveness
Migrate applications and databases from on-premises infrastructure to Amazon Cloud, optimizing the deployment for scalability and reliability
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement effective solutions aligned with overall business strategies
Deploy and manage applications in Amazon Cloud using EKS and other relevant services
Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to best practices
Plan and deliver projects, ensuring they are on time and within budget
Support business strategy execution by driving IT execution plan
Lead and deliver technology solutions in alignment with business and IT objectives
Align with global technology standards and IT architecture to define technology solutions
Manage a delivery team consisting of both internal and external resources
Communicate effectively with stakeholders in both English and Japanese, facilitating smooth project execution
