Requirements

  • Ability to supervise and motivate 20-25 hourly personnel in a distribution center environment
  • Experience leading teams on problem resolution and process improvement
  • Knowledge of implementing productivity, quality, and service standards
  • Capability to respond to dealer calls and make immediate decisions to resolve issues
  • Skills in ensuring equipment receives preventative maintenance and repairs
  • Adherence to safety regulations and procedures
  • Experience conducting daily safety meetings and providing training or counseling for unsafe behavior
  • Ability to maintain high employee morale and ensure work standards are met
  • Knowledge of receiving, processing, and storing parts inventory safely, efficiently, and timely
  • Skills in improving productivity and quality through process ownership
  • Ability to prepare and maintain paperwork for hourly payroll and attendance records
  • Capability to make workflow decisions under management direction
  • Willingness to work 1st Shift: Monday-Friday 7am-3pm in Clayton, OH (5 days a week, no relocation or sponsorship offered)
  • Availability for up to 10% domestic travel
  • Coaching Others: Knowledge of coaching principles and practices

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and motivate distribution center employees through effective coaching, training, clear communication of job expectations, and positive reinforcement
  • Lead teams working on problem resolution and process improvement
  • Implement productivity, quality, and service standards; resolve problems and identify areas for improvements
  • Contribute performance data to strategic plans and reviews
  • Respond to dealer calls and make immediate decisions to resolve issues
  • Ensure all equipment receives preventative maintenance and repairs as necessary
  • Adhere to requirements and procedures for safety regulations
  • Contribute to workforce development by engaging and mentoring employees to follow established work processes
  • Conduct daily safety meetings to ensure employees have proper equipment and perform jobs safely; provide training or counseling for unsafe behavior
  • Maintain high employee morale by ensuring established work standards are delivered
  • Ensure parts inventory is received, processed, and stored in a safe, efficient, and timely manner
  • Improve productivity and quality by taking ownership of the process
  • Prepare and maintain necessary paperwork for hourly payroll and attendance records
  • Make workflow decisions under the direction of management
  • Improve service levels and costs for distribution center operations
  • Maintain a positive distribution center working environment
