Requirements

  • 15+ overall years of strategic sourcing and high-tech industry experience or related field
  • 10+ years of leadership experience and demonstrated successful communication skills at executive level
  • Extensive global sourcing leadership experience building and engaging global memory and storage suppliers
  • BA / BS degree (Masters preferred), or equivalent experience
  • Outstanding negotiation skills in executive supplier management
  • Excellent communications, teamwork, and influencing skills working with engineering, finance, business units, and other supply chain functions
  • High degree of integrity, initiative, and attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Build a strategy and vision for NVIDIA's Memory commodity management team. Incorporate internal and external ideas to establish a robust sourcing team
  • Collaborate with and influence leaders across various cross-functional organizations, collaborators, suppliers on a regular basis; coordinate engagement with the entire ecosystem to determine technical and business requirements for highly complex business areas and product categories
  • Drive multi-year sourcing strategy and partnership engagement to support NVIDIA's fast growth business requirements while optimizing costs and ensuring continuity of supply
  • Manage partnership with suppliers to drive innovation and improvement, transform capabilities and proactively assess risk and impact of change
  • Be responsible for cost negotiation and continuity of supply and partner with planning and materials team to optimize supply chain for this critical category
  • Drive business impact by applying subject matter expertise in procurement processes and policies, and market intelligence to develop and influence strategies cross-functionally
