Requirements

10+ years of engineering experience, including at least 5 years in engineering leadership roles
Deep expertise in architecting and scaling data platforms and distributed systems
Strong technical background in cloud-native data technologies (e.g., AWS, Snowflake, Spark, Kafka)
Demonstrated experience in developing and deploying generative AI solutions, particularly in the context of data pipelines and agentic systems
Proven track record of driving significant efficiency gains through automation and AI-driven optimization in data-intensive environments
Proven ability to define and deliver on a technical vision for high-performance, rapid data processing

Responsibilities

Lead the Data Platform team, including global team members across the United States and India
Partner cross-functionally with the App Platform, Core Infrastructure, Product Management and other teams to align platform capabilities with business needs
Recruit, develop, and mentor a high-performing team of engineers and technical leaders
Own the vision and roadmap for OM1’s Data Platform, ensuring it delivers high throughput data processing and drives transformative efficiency through generative AI
Deliver core platform capabilities, including data ingestion frameworks, data lake/warehouse solutions, transformation pipelines, governance and lineage tracking, and API-based delivery mechanisms
Architect, develop, and deploy agentic systems to automate and optimize complex data processes, from ingestion to consumption, aiming for significant efficiency improvements
Establish best practices for data processing speed, efficiency, and quality without compromising accuracy or compliance
Lead multiple Agile teams in delivering robust, high-quality engineering solutions
Partner with Product Management to prioritize platform enhancements and align with product roadmaps
Collaborate with the Core Infrastructure team (including Information Security, Infrastructure and IT) to ensure platform adherence to PHI/PII requirements and certifications (e.g., SOC 2, HITRUST)
Build reusable services, tools, and frameworks that accelerate application development and analytics capabilities
Foster an inclusive, collaborative engineering culture that values innovation, technical excellence, and continuous improvement
