Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Aerospace, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of sales experience in the aerospace and rotorcraft sector
  • FAA licensed helicopter and/or fixed wing pilot
  • Demonstrated ability to close high-value deals and manage complex sales cycles
  • Strong understanding of the aviation market, governmental regulations, and aircraft sales processes
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Willingness to travel domestically as required
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of FAA regulations, SMS, and aviation safety best practices
  • Commercially rated helicopter and/or fixed wing pilot

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies for helicopter sales and deliveries, to both operators and individual owners, to achieve revenue targets
  • Manage and grow relationships with industry partners, commercial operators, fleet and private owners
  • Lead a sales team, including setting goals, monitoring performance, and providing coaching and mentoring
  • Identify new business opportunities in domestic and international markets, including fleet sales, long-term contracts, and private owners
  • Collaborate with marketing, engineering, and program management to support proposals, RFPs, and customer presentations
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory developments to inform strategy
  • Develop and track sales forecasts, pipelines, and KPIs to provide leadership with actionable insights
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote brand and products
  • Lead demonstrations, both aircraft and simulator, for investors or potential clients
