Requirements

The candidate should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in B2B technology, with at least 5 years in Renewals, Account Management, Customer Success, or Sales leadership roles. Proven experience in exceeding sales and growth targets within the APJ market is required, along with strong leadership experience managing geographically dispersed teams. A deep understanding of enterprise sales cycles, procurement processes, and contract negotiations is necessary, as well as experience with SaaS, subscription, and perpetual licensing models.

Responsibilities

The Director, Renewals Sales will lead the Renewals Sales organization for the Asia Pacific & Japan (APJ) region, driving on-time renewals and maximizing gross and net retention rates. This role involves achieving and exceeding regional Renewals bookings targets, building a high-performing sales culture, and partnering cross-functionally to deliver exceptional customer outcomes. Responsibilities include leading, coaching, and mentoring a team of Renewals Managers/Account Managers, developing and executing regional renewals sales strategies, acting as an executive sponsor on strategic renewals, overseeing complex renewal agreement negotiations, building relationships with customer executives, and collaborating with various internal teams for cohesive account coverage and operational excellence.
