Requirements

  • Ability to understand, communicate, and resolve unique client issues in tandem with SEI Relationship Teams
  • Expertise in ensuring overall quality and delivery of Fund Accounting, Shareholder Reporting, and Administration services per client-specific models
  • Capacity to serve as senior technical and operational resource for clients and interact with Board of Directors/Trustees
  • Proficiency in identifying, interpreting, applying, and communicating accounting and industry rules and regulations
  • Ability to identify trends in the investment management business and adjust operational services accordingly
  • Strong departmental leadership skills, including creating, communicating, monitoring, and reinforcing vision, goals, and objectives
  • Experience in participating in senior management meetings, initiatives, and promoting integration across SEI lines of business
  • Skills in management development, including performance appraisals, one-on-ones, career pathing, training, staffing, hiring, and handling promotions/disciplinary actions
  • Capability to set/enforce policies, develop action plans, review progress, and lead departmental projects

Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day delivery of premium accounting services to internal and external clients for assigned hedge and private equity funds
  • Operational ownership and leadership for a bundle of service relationships, coordinating with Senior Operations Officers, other Directors, SEI teams, clients, auditors, and vendors
  • Directing overall operations functions, including transaction initiation, service requests via multiple channels, and supervision of managers/supervisors for training and quality service
  • Developing and implementing procedures to maintain/enhance client service, quality, and operational efficiency
  • Formulating and/or implementing operations policies and procedures per corporate standards
  • Client management: resolving issues, ensuring service delivery, serving as technical/operational resource, and interacting with Boards
  • Technical consulting: applying rules/regulations and adjusting services to industry trends
  • Departmental leadership: participating in meetings/training, promoting integration, setting policies/goals, conducting appraisals/one-on-ones, managing staffing/hiring, fostering team development, and leading projects
