The Director of Engineering, MediaWiki will lead teams responsible for building, maintaining, and improving the MediaWiki platform, ensuring its stability, reliability, and optimal performance. They will collaborate with the Director of Product on roadmaps and technical strategy, participate in strategic planning with other senior managers, and manage the budget and expense priorities for the MediaWiki Engineering group. Furthermore, they will be responsible for hiring, coaching, developing, and empowering engineering managers and individual contributors, fostering a positive and values-aligned team environment, and contributing to organizational development efforts.
