The Director of Engineering, MediaWiki will lead a team of engineers responsible for building, maintaining, and improving MediaWiki, the open-source software platform. They will manage engineering delivery, collaborate on roadmaps and technical strategy with the Director of Product, and participate in strategic planning and problem-solving across the department. Additionally, the role involves hiring, coaching, and developing engineering managers and individual contributors, managing budgets, and ensuring the stability and performance of the production environment.
