Requirements
- Expertise in engineering functions for electric and gas utilities and/or energy end-users

Responsibilities
- Oversee engineering functions and teams, ensuring best-in-class services for utility contracts
- Directly supervise Engineering Managers and support recruitment, development, and resource balancing
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to engineers, program teams, and leadership
- Ensure engineering team skills and qualifications align with contract requirements
- Collaborate with leaders to align engineering resources with client contracts
- Coach and mentor engineers, planning for future development needs
- Model accountability and guide decision-making
- Promote ongoing education on emerging technologies
- Facilitate technical working groups for best practices, tools, and innovations
- Encourage continuous improvement of tools and processes
- Research cost-effective technologies for accuracy and efficiency
- Maintain high-quality deliverables and communications through reviews
- Provide feedback to engineers and managers
- Oversee client communications for clarity
- Support resource planning aligned with projects and budgets
- Monitor project time, effort, and profitability
- Identify and relay client concerns to improve deliverables
- Facilitate knowledge sharing among engineers
