The Director of Compliance will have a strategic role in managing and optimizing compliance-related processes to support Accurate Background and its customers. They will ensure compliance with the FCRA, internal policies and procedures, and applicable state and local laws. This leader will also oversee a team of professionals in tracking the changing laws, creating communication to customers, and other compliance operations functions, driving performance, fostering collaboration, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services.

Requirements

  • Compliance with U.S. legal, regulatory, and accreditation requirements for background screening.
  • Understanding of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).
  • Knowledge of state-specific regulations related to background screening.
  • Ability to monitor and analyze changes in laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
