Responsibilities

  • Manage the strategic and tactical planning and strategies for either a single or multiple reverse logistics, VAS or EAD facility and business
  • Provide strategic vision, direction and leadership for facilities or business responsible for, ensuring compliance with all regulations
  • Manage the specific P&L's for each of the organizations and ensure all metrics are achieved or re-calibrated strategically
  • Assign and direct activities and projects across the organization to meet various customer, supplier, transportation and distribution needs
  • Maintain an understanding of all the core business processes for your supported business group, drive initiatives for continuous improvements and processes
  • Identify, develop and recommend strategic initiatives for establishing external competitive advantages
  • Capture, report and understand the various costs, cost drivers and implement improvement programs where synergies exist among all the EAD or VAS businesses
  • Prepare financial analyses of impacts on business operations and make recommendations to gain the competitive advantage
  • Maintain knowledge of EAD environmental and compliance regulations and oversee and ensure all logistics-related operations comply with applicable environmental, health, safety, and other regulatory rules and regulations (DOT, HIPAA, etc)
  • Partner and collaborate with the EHS and quality organizations as needed
