Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a global, fast-paced environment
Forward-thinking leadership with ability to critically evaluate and implement emerging technologies, including AI
Expertise with legal and business systems, including proficiency with CRM (e.g., Salesforce) and CLM (e.g., DocuSign CLM) platforms
Experience with a variety of legal technology and AI tools highly desirable

Responsibilities

Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of AI-powered and other legal technology solutions; develop and champion use cases for AI in contract analysis, compliance monitoring, legal research, and workflow automation; critically assess risks, benefits, and ethical considerations
Lead, mentor, and develop a junior team member, delegating tasks and fostering professional growth
Manage and support key projects across Diligent’s global legal department, collaborating with cross-functional teams
Build out contract automation and related workflows to streamline contract management
Create and maintain robust information management processes for legal documents, ensuring organization, accessibility, and compliance
Summarize contractual terms and other business/legal matters at scale, providing actionable insights
Contribute to strategic planning, define priorities, set objectives, and manage budgets for the Legal department
Drive adoption and optimization of tools for meaningful improvements and measurable efficiencies
