Requirements

Candidates must have 10 or more years of experience in IT audit, with at least two years in a management role. A Bachelor's or advanced degree is preferred, along with a strong understanding of NIST, ISO, and other relevant standards. Expert knowledge of IT governance and security frameworks like ITIL, NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, and ISO, as well as control frameworks such as COBIT and COSO, is required. The ability to influence others in sensitive situations is also necessary. A CISA or equivalent certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

The Director- IT Audit will direct teams of IT auditors to provide independent and objective oversight of assurance and consulting activities focused on IT and Cyber. This includes designing and implementing IT audit procedures, evaluating complex technical issues and business processes using IT frameworks, and ensuring corporate systems, records, and processes are audited against authoritative sources. The role involves training new staff, establishing IT audit objectives, delegating assignments to subordinate managers, and developing or modifying company policies affecting IT operations. Responsibilities also include interacting with senior technology management on enterprise risk matters and managing the activities of multiple departments through subordinate managers.
