Requirements

Candidates should possess a minimum of 8 years of experience in the insurance market, preferably at a broker, insurer, Third-Party Administrator, or MGA, with a focus on partnerships and insurance placements. Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a high-performing team is required, along with a track record in developing insurance partnerships and portfolio management. Experience in creating concise pitch documents, communicating complex ideas clearly, and problem-solving is essential. Experience in producing business in multiple global markets and in product entry strategies is advantageous.

Responsibilities

The Director, Insurance Partnerships will lead the development and optimization of insurer partnerships across Asia to achieve company KPIs. Key responsibilities include owning the insurance carrier strategy, managing the placement and operational aspects of CG business with insurance partners, and driving an innovative culture. The role involves negotiating insurance contracts to maximize profit margins while ensuring partnership longevity, developing partner monitoring dashboards, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure effective business placement and optimal commercial terms.
