Responsibilities

Lead the consolidation and modernization of software delivery processes across both SaaS and self-managed GitLab products, ensuring a seamless developer-to-customer lifecycle
Drive the expansion and integration of delivery teams, managing an existing organization of 60+ engineers and senior leaders to meet evolving business needs
Collaborate closely with product leadership and peer directors to align delivery and quality strategies with product goals and customer requirements
Own the strategy for scalable software development and deployments such as designing new developer tooling, driving API first culture, and transitioning customers to recommended installation methods such as Kubernetes-based platforms
Foster cross-functional partnerships with infrastructure and development engineering teams to enhance operational stability and software reliability
Measure and improve key delivery metrics to ensure high-quality, timely releases that meet customer expectations
Mentor and develop senior managers and principal engineers, building a strong leadership bench to support ongoing growth and innovation
