Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic oversight for enterprise-wide delivery and support of infrastructure services including network, systems, and database operations
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and resilience of infrastructure platforms through continuous monitoring, service request/incident management, and proactive maintenance
  • Oversee continuous improvement of operational processes and service delivery models by driving development and execution of runbooks, playbooks, and SOPs
  • Establish and monitor SLAs, KPIs, and operational metrics to drive accountability and service excellence, leveraging data analytics and performance tools, including business cases for tooling investments
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to senior managers and individual contributors across infrastructure domains
  • Set clear goals, offer coaching and mentorship, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement through evaluation and feedback
  • Recommend staffing levels, allocate resources, and set priorities for the department
