Requirements

10-12 years of Workday experience ideally focusing on Financials (or other ERP) Consulting implementation experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Proven experience leading a virtual team for 5+ years
Required characteristics: fast learner, detail oriented, decisive, and enjoy fast paced work environments
Must work well within and across teams to get things accomplished
Possess sales engagement experience estimating and presenting to prospects

Responsibilities

Provide expert guidance to the Consulting management team and team members as a “go to” practice leader
Act as a liaison between the Consulting team and executive management
Assist in identifying business needs, staffing projects, and ensuring work/life balance of consultants is monitored and adjusted
Assist the sales team with sales activities such as orals, estimations, and Statements of Work (SOW’s)
Oversight responsibility for projects across the practice; oversee and assist engagement/project managers and team members to identify project needs, reduce risk, and develop solutions and strategies
Support the RFP response and pursuit process for Consulting work
Assist in the recruitment, development, and management of a diverse, remote team of consultants supporting Workday applications
Promote a team-oriented, challenging, and innovative work environment
Lead and manage Senior Managers and/or Managing Consultants to ensure adherence to Workday and Cynergy Implementation Methodology activities, processes, and procedures
Drive team and individuals to achieve high customer satisfaction levels
Establish immediate credibility with clients and within the company; build consensus and achieve goals through influence
Build trust-based relationships and identify and foster business development opportunities
Perform role of mentor and coach
Analyze team skills and provide for cross training to maintain teams’ ability to staff projects appropriately
Advise management team on team members’ level of expertise and availability
Establish direct reports’ goals and objectives during the bi-annual review process
Direct the collection of performance feedback from customers and engagement/project managers on a quarterly basis or upon project completion for the entire team
Direct the collection of all internal contributions for team members, assuring data is received by HR on a quarterly basis
Drive bi-annual performance review process for the Consulting team
