Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Storage industry with at least 5+ years of management experience in Quality, Engineering, or Manufacturing
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of professional experience
  • Customer facing experience preferred but not required
  • Strong knowledge of quality and reliability and ability to drive issue resolution following 8D methodology
  • High level of analytical skills
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent communication (fluent in English, any other language is a plus) and presentation skills
  • Resilient and able to deal with challenging situations
  • Flexible to meet the demands of the role
  • Quick learner - can pick up new tools for reporting and analysis

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of highly experienced Customer Quality and Product Insights Engineers with primary focus on monitoring product performance at customer Integration and Field
  • Identify problematic areas and issues that need quick resolution
  • Ensure WD Quality leadership and Intimacy and Top QBR Customer Quality Rankings and Scores
  • Coordinate the work of cross-functional teams to resolve product related issues at customers
  • Represent the Company, Quality Organization, and the Team in internal or customer-facing meetings
