Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, or a related field, along with a minimum of 8 years of progressive compensation experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as is a deep understanding of compensation principles, market trends, and legal regulations. Experience with compensation management systems and HRIS platforms is also required.

Responsibilities

As the Director - Compensation, you will lead Clear Street’s compensation practices, developing and evolving a scalable compensation strategy and philosophy, partnering with business leaders and the People Team to evaluate compensation practices, developing and maintaining a job title and leveling framework, leading annual compensation planning, ensuring successful execution of merit and bonus planning, participating in salary surveys, reviewing compensation policies, collaborating with Talent Acquisition and People Operations, and maintaining HRIS data hygiene. You will also provide guidance and support to employees regarding total rewards programs.
